Research on hydrogen leakage and dispersion characteristics in indoor thermal stratification environment

The leakage of hydrogen in a room is key issue safety, and ventilation plays an important role dispersion. usually builds thermal stratification environment due to the low temperature liquid or throttling effect. This study attempts develop fast-computational theoretical model dispersion motion indoor based on classical buoyant jet carry out experimental verify model. research results show that developed can well predict trajectory slowly releasing leakage. leak oscillates thermally stratified at certain height, called as “lock height”. smaller port uniform larger horizontal diffusion distance, higher locking height. are expected safety prediction problem formulation related standards help make strategies ensure safety.
